I added both astronauts, the aliens in the distance, the space ship, and the light source behind them. The hardest part of this project was getting the shadows to work in relation to the light source that I created. The shadow of the astronaut on the left was giving me the most trouble, as it wasn’t as simple as horizontally flipping the image, blacking it out, and decreasing opacity. Instead, I had to use that method, and then manually draw the rest of the astronauts legs using the paintbrush tool to make the shadow believable. The characters in the background didn’t give me nearly as much trouble. I also had to recolor the light source to add a deep blue/purple space color to make the background more interesting.
